The sales team is responsible for driving new business, building customer loyalty, ensuring high product retention rates, supporting and promoting corporate strategy and initiatives, and developing and executing area business plans. VMware’s executive sales leadership is hands-on, regularly engaging with the team during key parts of the sales process to win and retain accounts.

Role Description:

· Accountable for the direct management of Inside Sales team in the French region. This includes recruitment, on boarding, establishment of daily activities, setting/measuring goals/objectives, and daily interaction with the respective teams. (Due to increase business growth, team size is growing on a continual basis)

· Drive revenues within the given territories to maximize revenue for VMware, utilizing our leveraged partner network

· Partnering with the appropriate sales teams within region to ensure alignment of Inside Territory Reps to Territory Managers.

· Drive Territory Manager productivity through effective scheduling of the Terrority Manager’s time with resellers and customers

· Ensure smooth handling of customer/reseller orders, ensuring orders are booked on time

· Accountable for forecasting for the given territory

Essential Requirements

· 4-5+ years Sales experience within IT/technical environment

· In addition, at least 2 years + team lead/people management experience within a sales environment

· Fluent English and French

· A demonstrated passion for results and customer satisfaction

· A strong understanding and demonstrated experience in a channel leveraged sales environment

· Strong understanding of processes and best practices within an Inside Sales and telesales environment

· Strong organizational and managerial skills with ability to manage multiple projects

· Capable to manage a diverse group of people to common goals, with the ability to be an individual contributor

· Proven track record of effectively interfacing with cross-functional departments and sales management team

· Degree preferred
