THE ROLE:
*Operational manager of a Project Team, the Project or Program Manager (PM) drives his project, or portfolio of projects, from business acquisition until transfer to the plant, after Start of Production, ensuring a flawless product launch, achieving the defined project objectives (Quality, Timing, Project Cost, Gross Margin, Performance, including specific Valeo internal objectives assigned to the project) and ensuring Customer Satisfaction on the project.

*Decision making Build and maintain a network of relationships in all Functions (R&D, Sales, Finance, Purchasing, Quality and Manufacturing) :
*Scope management
*Lessons learned management
*Development process management
*Time management
*Resource management
*Profitability management
*Risks and issue management
*Professional contacts : Internal:Managers of the Simultaneous Engineering Functions, APU managers.
PVC / PMC meetings.Design Reviews / Sourcing committees.Those closest to any problem encountered (whatever their position). Any key player, any decision maker.
* External: Customers, Suppliers.
REQUIREMENTS:

*Working experience (career) :
*Project Manager : 5 years
*Program Manager : 8 years
* 2 years of experience as a project manager in the manufacturing industry (automotive, a plus).
*Undergraduate degree (minimum 4 years), graduate degree preferred but not mandatory
Or Business School
*Language: English and French required.
*Knowledge of Product / Process technology or ability to acquire it through specific product / process training
*Management / Leadership
*Finance understanding
*Experience of Business Acquisition phase and of SOP
*Stress resistance
*Previous Automotive experience highly desirable
*Assume the full responsibility of the project
*Be reactive
