Channel Order Management Specialist / Inventory Analyst for Benelux Market

Overview:
An opportunity has arisen within the Order Management Team in EMEIA.
This person is responsible to act as the primary point of contact for Apple’s Benelux channel customers, such as Distributors, Retailers, Apple Premium Resellers, Apple Solution Experts.
The Order Management Team has responsibility to manage the order flow process with Channel partners from Order Booking to Billing to Delivery to ensure optimal customer service levels. The team work continuously to improve service and execution to meet Apple & Channel partners growing business needs
This person will be responsible for driving improved lead times. Proactively monitoring inventory levels will also be an integral part of this role.
This role will suit a candidate who can demonstrate a strong understanding of the Order Cycle & Execution Process and also the Supply / Demand Forecast and Planning Process, from Collaborative Forecast Development, to Final Decision Making and Execution. This is a role for a suitability qualified and experienced individual within a dynamic and fast moving environment to further their career and utilise their analytics, planning and account management skills to achieve career and personal development in a customer facing & very visible environment.
Job Requirements:
1. Build and maintain effective working relationships with Channel Partners and internal partners in, Sales Operations, Regional Planning, BPR, Sales, Credit Management, Logistics.
2 Ability to dialogue and negotiate at senior management level with channel partners.
3. Work with both internal and external partners outlined above to identify, implement & ensure adherence to Key Performance Indicators & Service Level Agreements.
4. Work with Sales Operations to understand the decision making process regarding
allocations i.e. weeks of stock, sell through targets, sell in targets.
5. Interact with Distribution Planning on weekly allocation detail and execution process.
6. During New Product, work hand in hand with Regional Product Planning, Central Sales Operations, Sales and Logistics to ensure flawless execution and successful New Product launch.
7. Backlog management :
- Ensure that at all times the orders on the system represent the customers true
demand. Any orders in excess of true demand, should be scheduled out in line with the
customer requirements.
- Work with planning to ensure orders ship within the required SLA.
- Drive order cycle attainment
Skills & Competencies Required:
1. Ideally be fluent in French and Dutch in addition to having an excellent command of the
English language.
2. Data analysis & numeracy skills and proven ability to evaluate, analyse and present data
3. Practical & pro-active approach to problem solving and process improvement
4. Excellent communications, interpersonal, negotiation & commercial skills
5. Ability to build effective relationships in a cross-functional team environment

Order management is a dynamic function and job responsibilities will develop over time to
react to changing business environment and requirements. This is an attempt to paint
as complete a picture as possible, but the candidate should be flexible to handle other duties as business conditions dictate.

Qualifications & Experience Required:
1. Bachelor degree in Business, a Life Science or Engineering, Maths or Physical Science required.
2. Post graduate qualification in CPIM, IBF, CIMA or CAT is a distinct advantage.
3. Five plus years in a similar supply chain, demand/supply planning or sales operations role.
