We are looking for an experienced Cluster Manager whose job it will be to achieve consistently high hygiene standards laid down by the Client, through a ‘can-do’ approach and strong leadership and coaching skills in order to ensure your cleaning teams will deliver the results expected. You will have a strong managerial background and an appreciation of the fast paced requirements that come from working in a retail environment. You will have experience of the hospitality or retail industries or ideally come from a Cleaning Services background.
Core Responsibility

Reporting directly to the Operations Director with core responsibility to ensure the delivery of a high level of service as agreed and outlined in the contract agreement between G.S. Associates and Marks & Spencer’s. The Cluster Managers must be aware of the contractual specification on the account and communicated this clearly to their team ensuring that the clients expectations are delivered at all times.

You will be proactive, meet deadlines, liaise with people at all levels, work accurately and respect confidentiality of the organisation and M&S.
Main Duties
  • To effectively manage the day to day operations in the M&S Account.
  • Overall responsibility to ensure that targets and deadlines are achieved
  • Personally undertake monthly audits at site
  • Clear communication on standards and KPI’s your team
  • Regular site visits with clients/Site Managers and the Regional Manager
  • Clear reporting on outcomes and agreed actions of meetings, this should also be communicated to relevant personnel within G.S Associates and the client
  • Liaise with external contractors for non-con work
  • Adhere to process for all non-con work
  • Overall responsibility to ensure both Budget and Payroll information is supplied to Head Office on a weekly basis within the agreed deadline.
  • Recruitment/Selection and Development of own team
  • Conduct internal staff appraisals
  • Conduct and record disciplinary actions
  • Completion of all site visit reports

Ideal candidates will have a background in Cleaning Management but we also welcome applicants who have Management experience in other areas, such as retail, catering, facilities, etc. This is a regional role and will require regular travel between sites and head office in Mallusk, Northern Ireland.

This role will require a flexible, pro-active individual who is focussed on delivering the needs of the business. This position will necessitate weekend working.
