Senior Business Analyst - Life Insurance
Salary: 70k + bens
Will be managing other business analysts - Junior Business Analysts will be reporting to them

Senior Business Analyst - Operations Department, European Hub.
Function: Operations
This group will be responsible for providing products and services to local markets (Europe) in an efficient way, enabling fast-to-market products and services to be delivered across Europe, with the potential to reuse these around the world.
The Role
Applications are invited for the above positions based in the Operations Department of the European Hub. We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong business background and a good working knowledge of life insurance.
The Senior Business Process Analyst will be a strong communicator and will have the ability to quickly build effective working relationships with business and functional teams across multiple locations.
Key Accountabilities
The key responsibilities will include but not necessarily be limited to the following :
•Working with local business units to develop detailed business operating models to support new cross border propositions in line with Target Operating Model.
•Work with IT to identify gaps and solutions to Life / supporting enterprise systems to support business operating models
•Write and review business specifications as appropriate
•Maximise effectiveness / efficiencies in business operating models
•Ensure all agreed models are compliant from a regulatory perspective and meet internal control standards
•Support testing and implementation of all business solutions
Skills and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
•Experience of working in business process analysis / solutions at a senior level
•Knowledge of policy administration systems and life insurance lifecycle and operations
•Cross border business experience a definite advantage
•Proven experience in analytical, research and problem-solving techniques
•Experience in managing tight deadlines, coordinating multiple activities, managing and escalating risks and issues
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to articulate complex processes and concepts to non-experts
•Ability to clearly and concisely gather, interpret, analyse and document information
•Ability to establish creative solutions to meet requirements
•Proficiency in Excel
•Fluency of a European language would be an advantage

•Must be a self starter, highly driven and have willingness to make decisions as appropriate
