This is a contract posting of circa 8 months' duration.
The position is predominantly Research based with a large emphasis on patents and research papers.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
• Plan and implement programmes of work, as agreed with the Group Manager
• Support and motivate team members/ assigned staff in technology development project work managed by you.
• Ensure that projects managed by you comply with the requirements of the platform objectives.
• Participate in a research team
Person Specification
The successful candidate will have:
• PHD in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material science or related discipline .
• Be flexible in the approach to all jobs
• Have a proven ability to learn rapidly
• A demonstrated track record in creativity and an ability to apply scientific principles to solve problems.
• Strong Interpersonal and communication Skills
• Good Team Player
