Our client, based in Blackrock, is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Life Assurance Administrator with at least 2 years experience and Life Assurance background.

Key Accountabilities

  • Working within our German Administration Department, you will assist the team in delivering a high quality and effective service to our clients.
  • Handling a wide variety of queries from clients via email and telephone.
  • Providing a world class service by maintaining and improving service levels.
  • Dealing with standard administration requests within agreed service turn around times.
  • Providing a world class service to all our customers from the birth of the policy through to the cessation of the policy. This will include a strong focus on the retention of existing business and emphasis on quality service.
  • Assisting in achieving the overall objectives of the Department.
  • Assisting team lead with key tasks to ensure smooth running of admin area.


Technical Competencies:

  • Excellent oral and written German is essential.
  • Experience in the Life Insurance industry and/or similar customer service environment.
  • Previous experience of working in the German life insurance industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in various software packages, including Word, Excel & Access.
  • Versicherungskaufmann status is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Non-technical Competencies:
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Good accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic and ambitious.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet tight deadlines.
