Ecommerce Content Manager
This role focuses primarily on the maintenance of product content for several corporate e-Commerce web channels.

Reporting to the Managing Director, Responsibilities and Duties include the following:
  • Ecommerce administration – managing bespoke ecommerce and online sales system on a daily basis.
  • Maintenance of new content management system.
  • Developing content to leverage rankings in various search engines.
  • Writing copy for new content pages.
  • Ensuring existing information and content is continually kept up to date.
  • Maintaining, managing and uploading product imagery.
  • Web development including front-end creation of webpage templates, both graphical and layout.
  • Conversion of content into html format.
  • Liaising with 3rd party web companies in regards to support and troubleshooting.
  • Dealing with customer queries regarding products, delivery and payment of online sales.
  • Analysing and reporting on website performance - troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Assist in delivering online marketing initiatives.
The successful candidate needs to possess the following essential skills/ capabilities:
  • Minimum 2yrs. experience working within an e-commerce environment.
  • You must have experience using content management tools within various on-line marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon etc.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel – working with multiple Excel based databases simultaneously.
  • Required skills include HTML, FTP & CSS.
  • Practical working knowledge of Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Photoshop.
  • Understanding of latest SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) techniques.
  • Excellent grasp of English language, spelling and grammar.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast changing, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and an understanding of the luxury cosmetic market.

The ideal candidate would have an e-commerce or web based marketing qualification along with practical experience.

Salary & Terms
Salary is negotiable – full time12 month contract. Approx. 3 months training will be involved.
