Our client, a market leader in Fresh Foods and Quality Customer Service currently has opportunities available for a Personnel Manager.
We are looking for someone who has worked as a Retail HR Manager, for this position you will work five over seven days which is likely to include regular weekend work
Your responsibilities include:
- Recruit new staff, complete interviews, and prepares paperwork for new employees to fill vacant positions.
- Professionally advise and co-ordinate all employee relations/industrial relations matters in the region in line with best practice, company procedures and employment legislation.
- Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, promotions, performance management and terminations.
- To implement and assist the store management teams in managing the performance management system within the region and ensure effective reporting and measurement within each area
- Represents the company at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
- Typical projects include wage analysis and salary reviews, labour studies along with training and development and industrial relations projects.
